Lesson Program
Instructing our students in
all degrees of horsemanship with an emphasis on safety and
having fun is a major focus in PVEC's commitment to produce
well-rounded riders. This approach allows each student to
develop a high degree of self-discipline, dedication and
sportsmanship through their participation in our lesson
program. Our philosophy of teaching correct basics and
continuously evaluating the performance of a student make
our riders not only well versed in equitation, but equally
effective at problem-solving and handling their equine
partners. We offer lessons for children (ages 7 & up), teens
and adults at all levels of riding. Beginners are started
being taught in private lessons until their skills and
confidence allow them to ride with other riders in a group
setting. This is done to allow each individual rider to hone
their skills in a very focused, safe setting working
one-on-one with the instructor. We also offer semi-private
lessons and group lessons (usually no more than 4 riders at
a time). We emphasize that PVEC is about quality
instruction, not quantity. This approach gives each student
the opportunity to excel under the direct tutelage of their
instructor while learning invaluable skills working within a
small group- rather than getting "lost in the crowd" in a
huge lesson. Advanced riders find that PVEC will
consistently test their equestrian skills and help them
strive for continuous excellence in their performance
through private, semi-private and group lessons. Consistency
is key. Truck-ins are always welcome.

both the local level and the national level without breaking
the bank! Our "Show Prep" fees cover grooming supplies,
braiding, and show day-care. "Coaching" fees cover both the

those riders who do not currently own or lease their own
horse, PondView only charges $25.00/day to use a schooled
horse for a day of showing!

you wish to compete, but feel a little unsure about
traveling to a different place to do it, take advantage of
our "in-house" Schooling Show Series- With 3-4 shows being
held every season right here at PondView, you can experience
